ABOUT ME
Biography & Personal Statement
Ozichi Onyejiuwa is a freshman from Prince George's County, MD studying Information Science at the University of Maryland. Her interests include crochet, music, technology, and library science. She also has an interest in computer science. Her major, information science, synthesizes computer science and psychology to create a more human-centered technology space. At the University, she hopes to combine her passions for education and technology to learn about its impact on different communites. After graduating, she hopes to work in the field of education technology creating software to tackle educational issues, or working in the realm of library and information sciences promoting literacy.

As a College Park Arts Scholar, Ozichi intends to explore her research interests through her culminating Capstone project to be completed in her sophomore year. She also looks forward to attending field trips to explore the arts within her new community of College Park, MD. Furthermore, she hopes to explore the interdisciplinarity of arts in regards to how it connects with technology
